Field Service Engineer

We are growing and need a field service engineer for both our Midwest as well as our Southeast region. This position is primarily for installing, servicing, and calibrating CMM's. This is a salaried position with full healthcare, 401k, flexible work environment, paid holidays and vacation. Full details available upon application.
What You'll Do:
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver excellence. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing equipment maintenance, and collaborating with a diverse range of clients and internal teams.
What We're Looking For:
• Strong technical knowledge in industrial metrology equipment.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Adaptable and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Installation and service, which includes diagnosis and repairs systems at customer facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations of equipment in the field.
• Perform machine rebuild and retrofits both in the field and at the AIMS facility.
• Provides technical support to our customers
• Represents AIMS with professional courtesy with our customers.
Requirements:
• Technical aptitude with the desire to learn a skilled trade.
• Mechanical, electrical, computer, and software experience needed.
• Must be able to move equipment from vehicle to customer facility.
• Ability to travel the majority of the time.
• Customer service attitude is a must.

Application Engineer

We are growing and need an Applications Engineer for both our Midwest as well as our Southeast region. This position is for supporting both our CMM line of products and our OGP vision based systems. This is a salaried position with full healthcare, 401k, flexible work environment, paid holidays and vacation. Full details available upon application.
What you'll Do:
As an Applications Engineer you will be working with our customers to provide solutions to their measurement needs. This includes product demonstrations, training, and custom programming.

• Strong metrology background and understanding of GD&T.
• Enhanced technical knowledge in industrial metrology equipment.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Adaptable and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide demonstrations of our products.
• Work with our customers to support any questions they have.
• Perform product training both in the office and on-site.
• Program parts for customer applications.
• Represents AIMS with professional courtesy with our customers.
Requirements:
• Must have a strong metrology background and be proficient with GD&T.
• Good computer skills required.
• Communication skills and customer service attitude is a must.
• Travel is required and can vary from 30-70% of the time.

CMM Assembly Technician

We are growing and need additional CMM assembly technicians to craft and build our amazing machines. This person will be working with our team of skilled craftsman learning all the processes of building a coordinate measuring machine.
What You'll Do:
As a CMM assembly technician you will be a critical part of our team and help craft our full line of CMM's.
What We're Looking For:
• Strong technical knowledge and good mechanical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work closely with your colleagues.
Requirements:
• Technical aptitude with the desire to learn a skilled trade.
• Mechanical, electrical, computer, and software experience needed.
