Proper CMM training is critical to help you get the most out of your CMM.

For customers that are new to CMMs or new to 5-Axis CMMs we can provide the correct foundation training to get you up and running with the right fundamentals for programming your system. Our experienced applications staff can also train existing users, so they gain more CMM knowledge helping to be more productive with their programming techniques. We also appreciate that all companies experience turnover from time to time. At AIMS we service what we sell, and our success is measured by your success. We offer a full range of training options to ensure you can have the best possible potential to master the programming requirements of your CMM. Our standard classes include:

Modus Level I (3-Axis or 5-Axis touch 32 hours) We provide a solid foundation that ensures you can understand the basics of the software and how to build and edit programs.
Modus Level I (5-Axis REVO 32 hours) Our class is built around the REVO probe system for tactile touch and scanning techniques. The training covers the basics for Modus with the application of the REVO probing strategies.
Modus Level II (16 hours) This is our advanced class based around your needs. This is tailored to your probe system so the training is most beneficial to your applications.
Modus – Equator (32 hours) We can provide training specifically for Renishaw’s Equator system. This class goes through all the Equator setup and programming. We also cover how to build the comp file from your main CMM.
CMM-Manager Level I (24 hours) CMM-Manager provides an intuitive graphical interface for the programming environment. Our Level I class covers the basics for building a solid program, graphical reporting and editing of the programs.
CMM-Manager Level II (16 hours) This is the advanced class that covers the more powerful program tools within CMM-Manager. It is tailored to your needs so that it maximizes your teams’ abilities with the software.
Renishaw UCC Server – This training is included with the above classes but can be broken out to help with a more comprehensive understanding of the CMM Controls environment that UCC Server provides.
